About ASTRO 2026

The 68th ASTRO Annual Meeting is scheduled to take place from September 27–30, 2026, at the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston. The theme for this year's meeting is "Data to Dialogue: Communicating Radiotherapy's Value to Advance Care," focusing on how clinicians can better communicate the benefits of radiation oncology to patients and the broader medical community.

The event will serve as a premier global platform for presenting the latest clinical trials and scientific breakthroughs in radiation oncology, with a heavy emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (RPT). More than 10,000 radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology professionals are expected to attend to discuss new standards of care and attend specialized educational sessions.

In addition to the scientific program, the 2026 meeting will feature an extensive exhibition hall showcasing the latest medical technology and treatment software from leading global vendors. The newly rebranded Speed of Light – The ASTRO Foundation will also present its first major updates on high-impact research projects aimed at accelerating innovation in the field.
